Here-joined an open letter addressed to ALL MEPs - issued by main European Associations representing the shippers (cargo owners) and industry (ESC), the logistic service providers and freight forwarders (CLECAT) and the alternative private rail operators (ERFA) – strongly asking to reject all new amendments which could jeopardize the good work done so far by your TRAN Committee. We consider that the TRAN Committee has done an excellent job by reaching a balanced compromise between the position of the major incumbents and those of the new entrants looking for efficient measures to promote fair and non-discriminatory competition.
