Cargo Rail Europe represents companies in the shipping and logistic sectors, who transport goods by rail, truck, ship, pipeline and in all variations of combined transport and who make considerable investments in sidings, terminals, terminal facilities, trucks, freight wagons and traction. Our members are from Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Poland, Austria and France. Our members are the customers of the transporters (rail transport companies, forwarding companies, road hauliers, etc.) and therefore the real stakeholders in freight transport and modal shift policy. They are the ones who ultimately pay the costs and fees, such as the Swiss Heavy Vehicle Fee (LSVA) of more than 1,200 million € annually.

FerCargo association was founded in January 2009. The companies members of FerCargo strongly support the railway liberalization process in Italy. FerCargo believes in entrepreneurship and efficiency as key elements for the recovery of higher rail share in freight transport. The association promotes all the initiatives able to develop rail freight in a free market environment.

IGTL is a Polish self-government rail industry organisation founded in 1995. Association gathers over seventy companies operating in railway industry.
