Before the vote on 26th February in plenary session, ESC, CLECAT and ERFA developed a joint position and asked MEP Franco Frigo and all MEPs to reject CER amendments endangering the non-discriminatory opening of the railway market

The 3 Representative European Associations (the industrial and final customers, the freight-forwarders and logistic providers, the new entrants and alternative rail freight operators) are totally opposing the suggested amendments of CER for the plenary and urgently inviting MEPs not to support such proposals. ERFA explained in a position paper the reasons to reject such amendments.
